In 2006, I tried my hand at real estate investing. I didn't do so well. I thought about taking real estate courses and getting my real estate license. Some of my friends have their licenses but don't have the knowledge of real estate investing. So, I turned to Trump University. These seminars were held in cities around the country. I attended the one in Washington, DC. It was free, it had about 500 attendees, and it had the Trump name behind it--a home run!!!
After the 2-hour seminar, everyone was excited. The information the trainers provided made sense and made us want to go out and make our first deal. They told us that if we wanted to learn everything about becoming successful in the business, we should take the 2-day training course. I took the course and paid $1500. After completing the course, we received our certificates, materials, and a go get them....Yes, there is a website that members can go to, and yes there's a number you can call to get information about different aspects of real estate investing, and yes there is a 150 page workbook with an overwhelming amout of material--so much-- I was drowning in it!! What I thought my $1500 was going to get me was a certified expert helping me at each phase of the investment deal. I didn't get that!!!
So, your focus should be in Foreclosures since our economy has a high amount of foreclosured properties. It's a perfect time to invest in foreclosures and get a Great Deal!!
